The Volkl Aura Skis are for women skiers who want a great powder ski that also handles well on the groomed snow. The 94mm underfoot will provide you with plenty of float in the powder. Its Sensorwood core is light and stabile, and the Power Construction provides grip while carving. Volkl's Power Construction uses their traditional sidewall construction, an extremely versatile, proven construction method that provides superior stability and sensitivity while gripping the ice and snow like Velcro. Although the titanium sheet provides dampening properties and additional rigidity, the women's Sensorwood Light Core makes the Aura a bit more forgiving and softer flexing than its big sister the Kiku. The 94mm footprint will transition between turns quicker giving a more lively feel for a big mountain feel.
